A solid basic is my bare minerals light powder foundation. While I’ve yet to find a brush that doesn’t flake off bristles (frustrating)…I still love the coverage this foundation provides. It’s sheer and won’t sweat off you in summertime activities. I also love the Revlon Skin Lights Face Illuminator Powder in 01 Natural Light. It just gives your skin a soft glow.
My favorite line of make up is MAC. I love color…and MAC does’t disappoint. I am in love w/ the MAC pigment collection. Fabulous shimmering shades of eye shadow you can mix and blend. I use the classic white to highlight my brow bone when going out. For every day I use the benefit High Brow pencil. I also can’t live without the MAC Nightsky softsparkle eye pencil. I wear this every day. The eye shadow line is is fantastic as well. I use many of those. My all time favorite color is a frost called Wondergrass. Love it!
As far as mascara goes I’ve tried them all. A solid performer for long black lashes is Dior. By far the very best. Expensive…but worth every penny. Then I love the new Cover Girl exact eyelights in blue. This stuff works wonders. My eyes really stand out when I use this.
At Bath & Body Works I stock up on the CO Bigelow line of lip shines (vanilla mint, raspberry, coca-cola, etc.). These all provide a glossy high shine w/ great flavor and the mentha feels fantastic on chapped lips! I also love the Body Shop Cranberry shimmer lip balm (hope I can find more of this around the holidays). I also love the MAC Spirit Satin Lip stick (a staple of mine…even wore this on my wedding day). I’m also a big fan of the MAC lustreglass line (one of my favorites is Pinkart).
